Emily White is a papercutting artist and graphic designer who is passionate and approaches design problems in unrestricted, explorative ways. She’s an enneagram type 3, if that matters to you, and is eager to design for good.
Studying fine art in her formative years, Emily focused on graphic design and completed her Associates with the Art Institute of York, Pennsylvania in 2010. From there she focused on freelancing and drank lots of coffee. In 2018 she completed her BFA at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design where she was the American Institute of Graphic Arts Central PA student president.
Emily’s work has been shown across the United States. She’s been awarded the Graphic Design USA Students Design Award in 2017 and an honorable mention in the International Beauty Association (formerly Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors) Young Designers Packaging Design Competition in 2018 which resulted in her designs traveling to Spain, Italy, and all across the globe.
Currently she calls charming Lancaster city in Pennsylvania her home. You can frequently find her at the dog park with her rescued Samoyed, Ruby, out enjoying a bowl of phở, or hanging with friends at a local music show.
